How We Began
Stephen initially volunteered in Kyiv as an FPV drone engineer, working directly with a Ukrainian resistance organisation. That led to the creation of UK-in-UA.org and a broader commitment to supporting people in Ukraine through humanitarian aid and emergency first aid and Stop the Bleed training. Stephen is a qualified nurse , having worked in the UK National Health Service (NHS) for over 25 years.
Humanitarian Aid
Our initial focus is the Kyiv & Lyiv regions, with plans to expand humanitarian support throughout Ukraine. We work to help deliver practical aid based on the needs of the local communities.
First Aid and Stop the Bleed Training
We provide First Aid and Stop the Bleed training for civilians and international volunteers in Ukraine. The programme is intended to give participants the practical skills that can help during the critical emergencies.
Looking Ahead
As UK-in-UA.org grows, we aim to extend both training and humanitarian support beyond the Kyiv region and reach more people throughout Ukraine. UK-in-UA.org is a not for profit , ‘Unincorporated Association’ , working towards a Community Interest Company.
